Eagle.Creates.Vision

In Mayan Culture each calender day can be decoded into a symbol which has great meaning. On my birthday of January 23, 1980, the symbol above is considered my galactic code which is named the “Blue Crystal Eagle”.

is translated as the galactic center of the universe, where all forms of life begin, including where I believe the inspiration for my art work emerges from.

About the Blue Crystal Eagle symbol which as an artist is placed very accurately to my being & style, uniqueness and birth date.

Below is a short poem which describes Blue Crystal Eagle.

I dedicate in order to Create.

Universalizing Mind

I seal the Output of Vision

With the Crystal tone of Cooperation

I am guided by the power of Accomplishment

My vision is to break down barriers of visual perception. To awaken the viewer's consciousness to the vastness of infinite possibility. Through the use of opposing elements and the incorporation of the viewer's unique interpretation, the goal of my work is to release the power of the unconscious. The organic flow of the work is the genesis of the unique story completed in the mind's eye of the beholder.

The collective vision to describe the commonality and uniqueness shared by all beings. The work becoming the epitome of the struggle of the opposing sides within us all.

 UNIVERSAL TRUTH.

“Above being original, above having style, above and so it is below, 2012 are you ready to leap with me? - Adrianne Jezin

"The main subject of my art has always been a human figure - the movement, expression, interaction of human forms. In 90’s and early 2000’s I executed my works mostly with white lines on dark background, using line as a minimalistic mean for delivering my thoughts and vision.  My recent art (from 2006 till now) is a natural continuation of my line-works. I scan my drawings and then use different digital effects. This is why I call these works “digitally embellished drawings”.

Urban Hardwear

I  started designing out of necessity.  As a DGA 2nd Assistant Director for television and film, I spent  99% of my working day on set carrying a walkie talkie.  I'm not a huge fan of those big clunky nylon belts a lot of other crew members wear  so I used a leather belt of my own.  Unfortunately set work is hard and the belt just didn't last.  Rather than go buy another belt I knew wasn't going to hold up as well, I decided to make my own.  Suddenly I had the bug and wanted to make more things!  My big break came when I was working on the set of the television show, Sons of Anarchy.  The costume designer had seen my work and asked if I'd be interested in designing some custom pieces for the actors to wear.  My original cuff designs were worn by the character "Tig," played by Kim Coates,  for the past two seasons.  A leather jacket I had designed was also featured on an episode in season two.  I had been wearing it on set  when the lead of the show, Katey Sagal, asked me where I'd gotten it.  When I told her I'd made it, she and the costume designer bought it right there.

I love what I do and I enjoy making things with my hands.  I'm always inspired by old vintage costume jewelry and like working unusual pieces into my art.  I do all of my work out of the kitchen of my home.  My two dogs, Pip  and Luci, keep me company.  When I discovered Pip liked to eat the leather scraps I was working on, I realized a lot of the products I was using weren't safe.  I switched to Eco Flo dyes, an all natural water and vegetable based dye and use water based glues to adhere my designs before I  hand sew them.  I try to incorporate as much upcycled and/or vintage pieces into my work as possible.  Most of my adornments on my pieces are scavenged from flea markets and garage sales as well as hardware stores.  Many of the pieces of leather I use have been reincarnated from the couches and old jacket they used to be.   All of the sewing I do is by hand and I use only wax coated cotton string.

The name of my company, Urban Hardwear, comes from the idea that high fashion can come from the most unusual places and that industrial design can go hand in hand with fashion design.

Michelley QueenofQueens

Picture
Cuban-American, multimedia visual artist Michelley QueenofQueens was raised by a bedazzled brood of drag queens and dandies in the Northeast corner of the United States. Besieged at an early age by endless trips to the “house where George Washington Slept”, Michelley retained an indoctrinated revolutionary streak, which is evident in her visual art.

“In a world where the teeth of relativism bite down diurnally on the testicles of culture, artistic relevance is a platitude of poppycock”, contends QueenofQueens. Despite this sentiment, QueenofQueens is compelled to continuously create in various mediums. She is presently crafting an extensive series of small paintings exploring human need and desire.

QueenofQueen’s work has been exhibited in various solo and group shows from the tropical climes of Florida to the arid lands of Southern California. She lives in pre-marital bliss with her partner in Los Angeles, California.

Claudene Gordon

Picture
I was born in Jamaica West Indies and raised in Queens New York, not far from the fashion epicenter of the world. My passion for fashion began at an early age, while watching my mother design and make clothes for my sisters and I. While in High School, I won the coveted Regional Scholastic Award and was featured in the Brooklyn Museum of Natural Arts for an oil painting I created of my beloved mother. My artistic flair and talent expanded my education into the Fashion Institute of Technology while still in high school. I then attended a private school, Wood Tube Coburn for 2 yeas majoring in Fashion Design.

Heading westbound to Los Angeles, I attended the Art Institute of Santa Monica for Graphic Design. Over the years, I worked my talents into the medical field as a designer at Barco Uniforms.

I was inspired by many things to create my own line of t-shirts, named Ed. G Green, which lends itself to the trendy nature of styles, along with my commitment to Mother Earth.  Each of my designs is an individual work of art that shares a story with the world.

When I design a tremendous amount of effort and detail goes into each of my graphics.  Before I even begin sketching a design, I create a story for each graphic to convey. Whether it’s a story derived from the ideals of love, charity, healthy living, Mother Nature or the planets that surround us, it’s always important that the final graphic provides inspiration for others and myself.

My keen eye for detail and an interest in the environment shows up in my designs, which are eco-friendly with an intention of personifying Mother Nature. Ed. G Green is now ready for International distribution, with a percentage of my profits set to go to an organization of my choice for the education of taking care of our planet.

Ed G. Green is a way for people who may not know about this earth-friendly lifestyle, and for those to become influenced or aware of what is going on around them. Knowing the importance of recycling and conserving is a way to understand how our everyday negative consumption and lifestyle can take a toll on the environment.

Mother Nature is the essence of life, love, growth, and peace. She is the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the fire we use to warm our homes. She is who we are, and as we destroy our environment by polluting, littering, wasting energy, etc., we only destroy ourselves.
