Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute so don't go away
I'll tell you how I became the Dame of a town called South Bay.
On West 156th Street born and raised
In the hair salon where I spent most of my days
Blowing out (hair), fro.ing out, relaxing all cool
And all spiking some v-ball outside of the school
When a couple of girls, their hair color was no good!"
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got them to go see me and The rest is history
That's all Daarrling--because I am a Mystery.

Tatiahna Simonian
MUA

“Some of my earliest memories are dumping out my mother's makeup collection and playing around with whatever I could find. By the time I was a teenager I had a huge makeup collection and was always doing my friend's makeup for dances or for our, now hilarious, photo shoots.”
After high school Tatiahna went to Empire Academy of Makeup in Costa Mesa. There she was taught not only about makeup application, but about the products themselves. After a few years of working freelance as a makeup artist she was not completely satisfied with her career and the industry she was working. After a long discussion with her father Au Shé Cosmetics was born.
Tatiahna now handcrafts cosmetics using primarily natural and organic ingredients for her own company. She continues to work freelance as an artist using Au Shé products and spreading the message that every person is beautiful. With or without makeup.

Antonio Esteban
MUA

My name is Antonio Estebán and after working in the family business for over 10 years I decided to venture off and do what I have always wanted to do, Make Up. I am fairly new to this industry and in the short time I have been doing this I have found a new outlet to express my creative side. I love how I can transform someone from the simple girl next door into an Enchanted Princess or even a Beauty Queen. And in doing so, I have also discovered that not only do I love being a Make Up artist but I also enjoy being a Creative Director. I am truly fascinated with the process of making my visions or yours into a reality.

Hello there Fabulous Divas, Ladies and gents… even u dogs out there…=) My name is Rebeka Maritza Platero. I was born in LA on August 15, 1987, I was raised in LA and spent a part of my life in El Salvador. I’m a super ultimate OG Barber I’m known as “The One Eyed Barber”, All due to a previous car accident a couple years back that caused me complete blindness from my right eye, don’t get scared now the good Lord blessed me with a spare wonder eye. I’m also a Part time promoter and co-owner to Schizofiend promotions but in my spare time or special occasions I do it all; HAIRSTYLING, MAKE-UP, I pretty much CREATE ART! Or at least try(everyone has their on perception of ART). I love what I do, I do what I LOVE. I’m a very firm believer that the bigger the hair the closer to God.. Its something I live by... lol. I’ve been doing hair for about 9 years now and I’ve been cutting hair for 7. I get a kick with watching my work all out in the open. The wilder the better. I love to work with new people with positive attitudes, outgoing personalities, and open to being fabulous, Glamorous, flamboyant, Obscure and of course SUPER CHIC! I’ve been known to pull off some miracles in my time because I only accept the best in everything I do. I do everything with passion and 100% LOVE that’s the extra touch I give to all my work! ;). How did I develop all my God given talents well it all goes back to my childhood as a mischievous little girl going threw my moms make-up and eating lips sticks…Yes I said eating … and cutting my own hair with nail clippers…and yes I know “say what?! Nail clippers???”….LOL well after getting in trouble a couple of times for damaged make-up pieces and beauty shop bills I finally grew old enough to start using make-up and started doing my hair with all my inspirations and support I sorted out to get better and be the motha’ funkinest greatest at what I do …and the rest is history….
Emily Asher - Makeup Artist

By day, Emily is a makeup artist/ retail vixen at the prestigious Beauty Collection in the Calabasas Commons. On her "days off" she likes to run around dolling up all sorts of people for fashion shows, headshots, photo shoots, theatre, film, tv, weddings, school dances, etc. She first started doing makeup at the ripe age of 12 when, at about a foot smaller than all the other girls in her class, she decided to be sophisticated and start padding her training bra with shoulder pads and wearing makeup, including at times bright baby blue lipstick. She got her own little caboodle makeup kit at Toys R US and gradually filled it with drugstore makeup so she could do her own makeup for plays and dance shows. The results of her early experiments with cosmetics were often surreal verging on disastrous but she learned as she went. In high school at Van Nuys Performing Arts Magnet and then at the Claremont Colleges, she pretty much did makeup on anyone who would stay still long enough for school dances, auditions, dates, etc. She also got to do makeup for all sorts of theatrical and dance productions and student films. Now she's all growed up but she still thinks makeup is about much fun as she can have with her clothes on! She is so excited and proud to be part of the amazing Sugar Beauty team and can't wait to see all the beautiful people at the next show! In her "spare time" she enjoys writing her fairy tale novel, reading voraciously, meditating, acting, making art, having adventures, and referring to herself in the third person.
